That's fair, I just don't see his defensive game nearly at the same level as Tanev or Regehr. Both had amazing hockey IQ, and were elite in 1 on 1 battles. Tanev is also an elite shot blocker, while Regehr brought the tunnel of death, and the constant physicality. I see Bahl as a good D, but I don't see him carrying a D pairing defensively all by himself.
As far as the offense, I don't see the same tools Zadorov has in terms of shot, and protecting the puck while skating. I'm hopeful Bahl will find another gear defensively in his 3rd full season, and anything he manages offensively is just a bonus.
Finally, comparing him to Tyler Myers wasn't taking a shot at Bahl, I think he was a pretty good D, but his time in VAN was rather average. Surprisingly, he even put up 48 points in his first NHL season with BUF. 1066GP, 98G, 396P is a pretty good career for a D-men.
