If the Sharks drafted Mrtka or Hensler this year, it would probably be 5-7 years before he is ready to take over the top spot from Andersson.
In short, the Sharks do not need one or the other, they need both. I am not sure how many teams are willing to part with a top pair D and D prospects.

Sergachev will be 33 when his contract ends. Utah gets all of his prime years.
Andersson would be 38.
