In 5-10 years we won't need to coach our kid's teams. We'll just be free to watch them play and leave strategy and coaching to the experts.
In individual sports like cycling, robo coaches for amateur athletes are already quite popular.
That will come out pro sports eventually too - probably start with off season training plans and adapting them as things go to plan/don't go to plan. Maybe there will be an AI assistant in a few years. Like a video coach on steroids.

Yep. It's amazing to be honest. I created an AI agent that I started building at Christmas for my son, for his off season program. He asked me about all these summer/off season things, and I didn't like the price, so I deep researched and found a ton of resources that I procured to create a 90 day program for him, with the flagship feature being an AI agent he can pretty much talk to daily, to discuss his pre and post physical and mental well being, and relay advice or tailor the program appropriately. All this, and I got AI to help me build an app he uses through all this. I also can monitor all his status and give suggestions also.
It's utterly mind blowing what it's been able to do for him. I created an offseason plan manually last summer, and it was maddeningly frustrating.
That being said, i had to constantly babysit it during the creation. What i'd equate it to, is I was the Project Manager of this project, and gave AI the parameters and had to constantly check it, tailor it, and ultimately bring it to the finish line myself. But the simple fact is, it took 80-90% of the work off my plate. I'd only need to spend 45-60 min a night for 3 months to build it the way i wanted.
If i'm doing this, i can guarantee it's being used elsewhere for sure.
