It makes me think about Tom Cruise's character in Minority Report, ripped out of his mind on drugs, watching videos of his lost son. He's basically watching a 3D video in an Apple Headset minus the headset... this is something else entirely.
Regardless of how we feel about this sort of thing right now, who among us would be able to avoid doing this when faced with a massive loss in our life? And extrapolating out, how many years are we away from being able to VR our way
into this scene and have a conversation with the person? Almost all the pieces are in place to do that right now, they just aren't connected.
The future of grief looks choppy and complicated.
