Hoffman hasn’t ever been a true closer. He might only be a set up guy. It is probably worth swapping his role with Rodriguez for a while…at least until Yimi comes back. Hopefully Hoffman can get things sorted out in some slightly lower leverage situations.

Completely agree and you see the results of the early pull down the line. Pitch count was low, he had no issues, he gets an extra day of rest - but managers will never, ever learn I fear.
