Nobody is shooing Andersson away.
The guy wants a contract that doesn’t make sense for CGY to sign, both sides have agreed it’s time to move on.
I think it would be foolish to overpay an aging Andersson just simply because we owe it to him. Would cripple the franchise for its duration. Makes far more sense to honor the mutual agreement to move on and obtain assets to do so.
