One of the insiders here said we didn't ask him to waive at the deadline. So I don't know why people freak out at the possibility of asking him. But if we did ask since then and he said no, then fine.
I know people preach loyalty but this isn't a retirement home. We need to make tough decisions that sometimes a player might not like. Like when Florida traded Huberdeau and upset him. Yet, they are now seen as the most successfully run front office in the league.

I mean all respect to royale but I doubt he’d know if Kadri was asked to waive privately or not. I don’t think anyone is freaking out about asking him to waive it is more the the incessant whining that Kadri is still on the team
