Hybrid: 80% well hit/15% rough/5% trouble.
My problem using a hybrid off a tee is this:
200 yards from green:
40% dancing/40% short/sand/mild trouble/20% big trouble. Average shots to get in 3.5
140 yards from green
80% dancing/15% short/sand/mild trouble/<5% big trouble. Averate shots to get in 2.25.

Sounds like you are definitely a better golfer than i am. I am guessing that anyone that reches well into the intermediate to advanced level is going to have a driver in their bag and know how to use it.
I find that i often look at a typical par 4 with 340-390 yards and can hit my hybrid twice and be very close to the hole. I have pretty good feel for distance (not so much for left-to-right though) so i can let up just a bit on my scond shot if i am within 180 yards. I easily use my hybrid for 25-35 shots in a round. (compared to using a driver for ~14 holes/strokes)
I find i am often in a much worse position on long par 4s and par 5s because i will pull out the driver, only hit it 40 yards further, but even if i am in the long rough i am looking at taking ~20 yards off my second shot. I am usually cursing myself for not being more patient and having used the hybrid.
I LOVE my Two-ball Odessey, i see you have one too!
