Barkov is elite and soon will be making $5 mil a year less than then some of the top paid players.
Reinhart is elite, less than $9 mil
Tkachuk is elite less than $10 mil
Verhaeghe at $7M, Jones $7M, Forsling less than $6mil.
None of these guys are 30 except Jones who is 30.
Bob is the only question, but he makes $10 mil so it's not like his contract coming up hurts them that bad. I could see Ekblad staying too for around $8M
Marchand probably stays for cheap too.

Everyone is making a huge deal about the state tax with the back to back wins but I don't think anyone took massive discounts to play in Florida.
Barkov - 2022 - $10M - 5th highest paid center in the league
Tkachuk -2022 - $9.5M -3rd highest paid LW in the league
Reinhart - 2024 - $8.6M - 8th highest paid RW in the league
Ekblad - 2017 - 7th highest paid defenseman
Bobrovsky - 2019 - 2nd highest paid goalie
Their build/salaries look a lot like Chicago's when they won their cups. Florida is just unique in the fact that they built a championship team during the flat cap and now the cap is exploding. If the cap had jumped up right after Chicago's 2013 cup it would've looked the same.
