I usually don't carry a tripod around and I use whatever is available to me... in ur case, I woulda used the hand rail (my hand is never steady enough for a good shot at night)
And tripods are pretty cheap in HK... $100HKD is like $13 Canadian (with the current exchange rate being 1 CAD = 7.5 HKD
None the less Neeper, this is still a very nice picture! I have yet to have a chance to take pictures in HK since I've been there (and will be here for almost another month) but I'll definitely take some. Did u get to take in lots of the sights?
