The mandate is asset management , whatever you want to call it, and not tanking. Offer fair contracts to expiring players. Trade them if they refuse. Keep vets under contracts. Explore trade deals for u25 players.

I get it doesn’t fit the narrative otherwise, but the narrative is kind of janky anyway since you’re ignoring the fact that 90% of their vets were on the last year of their deal. So of course it’s going to seem like they only trade upcoming UFAa if you fail to mention they had a disproportionate amount of expiring contracts and then discount the one they traded who wasn’t on one.
