Regarding Rossi, there's a reason why he's the one on the block, and that's because of his size- plain and simple. He doesn't make the kind of room for himself that Marchand does, because Marchand is mean, fiery, and thinks he's 6'3". He might put up points, but the game is so much more these days than just scoring, and players without size struggle to make an impact beyond that. I like Rossi, but let's not pretend that you will go far in the playoffs if he's your top center. There's a reason that Minny has their second-leading scorer on the block.

Unpopular opinion, but people in here fall in love with small players too easily. Size will ALWAYS be an asset in a contact sport, and lack of size will ALWAYS be a detriment- if you're small in today's game, and have success, it's despite your size deficiencies.

I’m not thinking of him as a top line centre but I think he could fill the 2c slot
