Try the plus size stores, I couldn't find any women's clothing that fit until I wandered into one of those. You get a few odd looks from the clerks and patrons, but as long as you don't insist on using the change rooms they have no idea you're actually buying them for yourself, and if they don't fit you can always bring them back and claim, "she didn't like the colour".
