I would agree, but that’s just my opinion. Opinions are like seeds, some grow into beautiful flowers, but thistles also start as seeds.
Dealing vets at this point depends on returns. If there isn’t a good futures deal on the table there is no point in moving guys just to get them out of here. The drawback is that current guys might block younger players, and waiting to deal with that at camp puts a team under pressure, and likely a disadvantage.
Agents would love to back a team into a corner to have to re-up a client rather than lose them for nothing or get pebbles in return. Conroy knows this and he won’t get caught in that game.
