I don’t dig into details of much draft stuff, but I did think it was weird seeing Desnoyers so high while guys like Laf, Mercer, Zary, and Bourque out paced him (Laf by a lot, the rest by a bit) and none of those guys have turned into even 60 point guys or bonafide #1s.
