Saying 8MM isn't a big deal is quite.....insane.
Also, not acknowledging that Lindholm and others saved Conroy from a disaster is also not accepting reality.
Insinuating that Hanifin didn't dick us around (purposely or not) and plummet his trade value near the deadline is quite a 'rosy' POV.
I hope Conroy has learned from all this hindsight and deals with Rasmus in the Flames best interest.
The question and goal right now should be "what do we need to do to set the Flames up for regular contention in 5 yrs". This could mean playoffs in 3 and being a break out team in 4.
