8MM is a big deal..... this asset is worth more in an expiring 4.55MM deal at 29 yrs old (where acquiring team can resign) than he is a couple years down the road at 32 yrs old with 6 more years at 8MM.
Craig lucked out that no one took their deals that were on the table. Is argue that only Hanifin would've been a good value contract.
Craig needs to put his foot down and not take the easy route by just going the route the player chooses. I'm not saying this is completely the way he is managing but it's a perception.
