lol, I have a degree in English literature. There is nothing grammatically incorrect about starting a sentence with and.
Res didn't have a point...consistent with every post he's ever made. My post consisted of several points, which is why it was longer.
By your logic, your post is a masterpiece because it's shorter than The Great Gatsby. You should submit it for a Giller Prize.
