That's a legit way to build out rosters i think going forward. Not enough 6 foot 3 inch centers that are 2-way and score a point a game. But what about reconstructing the effect with large/fast wingers to take some of the load off the non-ideal centers. Wingers shift to middle of ice on back check and d-zone. Soviets used to do this. It's non-traditional and not ideal, but not sure how a mid team like Flames get the center they think they need. Even a chandler stevenson type up the middle to protect and then let wingers take some risk.
