You see this all the time, see the Seth Jones trade. Most said Chicago hosed Florida, Jones is terrible. Especially in his own zone. He is +14 and is leading the Panthers in ice time by a mile and is 2 wins away from a Stanley cup. Sure, looks ok to me and worth a late 1st and a young goalie. And Chicago RS for years, Fla is paying him $7 mil a year now for how long. Such a lopsided trade, yet most said the opposite.

If you look at teams that won and their center is not their best forward or considered elite. There are quite a few of late.

I like Kuznetsov and Point, but they play in prime-time situations to succeed too.
