Conroy seems to have outlined a path, and he's walking it. Hopefully, he succeeds, and unlike Tre, the unexpected success this season wouldn't cost him too many future assets that would impact our contention window.
That said, I also find the constant complaining about the rebuild crew frustrating. When has it ever stopped anyone here before? Maybe we need to stop being so stubborn and consider some alternatives other than complaining about posters that are passionate about the Flames, albeit repetitive, and at the end of the day just want the Flames to succeed.

What about trading Toffoli, Lindholm, Markstrom, Mangiapane, Tanev and Hanifin for picks, prospects and fill-ins? That wasn't the 1st step in a rebuild?
