What you need is a way to make yourself look bigger to intimidate potential ursine attackers. I call it the expand-o-coat and it’s basically an umbrella mechanism sewn into the back of your jacket with extra material that extends out to make you look six feet wide and ten feet tall. It could be built into a backpack as well, possibly with C02 to speed the process and make extra noise. Patent Pending
