A change in government isn't good enough. Not when it's the same ####ty 2 party system that brings out the "best of sport's fans" and we get to play the flipflop game every 4 years (big IF another election happens). The only way I would even consider visiting again is if by miracle another election occurs, Democrat wins and they actually begin arresting, prosecuting and imprisoning those responsible. And I don't mean just Trump. There is a long-ass list of people who need to be held accountable for playing a role in dismantling the country. A loooooong list. That doesn't even touch on the tens of millions deranged MAGAs clapping like seals.

So how do you even begin to do that? Merrick Garland fumbled the ball with his "don't want to set a precedence" stance which essentially let Trump walk out with no consequences. I sometimes wonder if Garland sits at home sipping his laté, if he thinks he did the right thing watching the country burn, but at least a precedence wasn't set. I also do not believe that MAGA dies when Trump dies. As long as the 2 party system exists without other options and libs are around to be owned, MAGA will live on now that the cat is out of the bag. Americans are simply too dumb/uneducated to have any kind of self-reflection like the Germans did to turn a new leaf. Yeah, I'm sure WWF star Linda f'ing McMahon will do a fine job of teaching the next generation of American children how to self-reflect.

The country is lost and lost for probably the rest of my natural lifetime. I just hope Canada does what it needs to do to diversify, get of the American teet, and is able to defend itself if the time comes.
