The point is that the Flames had 16 games against bottom 6 teams. Wolf got 14 of those starts. While you are all marvelling at him, he padded his stats against bad teams

If the games against the crap teams were distributed evenly, I think you have 1a/1b stats
Like I say, Wolf’s starts were curated. It’s not that he didn’t eventually face good teams, but he padded his stats against the crappy ones. He got nearly every single game against the awful / bottom 6 teams.
I just think the story that is being sold, that he nearly dragged them in to the playoffs, merits a closer look.
He is very good and will be a franchise goalie, but he was not demonstrably better than his tandem mate against the good teams . The numbers are clear
