They won't make hard decisions because they dont have to. A large majority of the fanbase is perfectly content with the middle. This site is populated by the hardcore fans and look. There's a good chunk would be mad if Kadri was traded because "he's our best center" "we were so close to playoffs, we battled hard with the blues". A lot of people thought Huberdeau had a great year with his 27g / 62 pts.alot of us vehemently defend whatever we have because it's ours.
This fanbase, even a good chunk of the hardcores are fine with whatever. Ofcourse the flames will take the path of least resistance.
