That being said, getting annoyed with the new infill service road cutouts that make the roads driveable like wore torn Bosnia/Edmonton. Are there no acceptable standards who does that work where they have to come back and re-tamp if it becomes a jump in a year?

Yes, you have to use the city approved contractor and there are standards.
No, there is no follow up and it does always end up being garbage.
