The team is bottom 10 in goals per game, penalty kill, shots per game and middle of the pack in goals allowed, even with Wolf. Is that really a base to build on when you have no 1C? Its worse than the 2015 roster. Everything comes crashing down with any kind of Wolf injury. The team is really putting all their eggs in one basket building around a goalie.

Why won’t sone posters face reality that this team will not tank?? Why in the world would we trade one of the three hardest positions to fill a star goaltender?
This team is not going to be worse next year its not happening short if massive amount if critical injuries. This team didnt miss the playoffs because St. Louis went on a hot streak it failed because of the massive gap at center between kadri and frost and backs.
Do something to address the mid pair on defence after trading Andersson.
Add a center that looks anything like a top line center this is a 100+ point team.
Scoronato should improve slightly.
Zary hopefull stays injury free.
Frost and farabee cant score less than they did i still think conny going to get them maybe set them up for failure due to expectations.
Sharkbait injury screwed year.
Parekh should make the defence more mobile especially if conny can get someone in the middle pair that can skate.
Even if backs slides he is already playing at bottom six numbers wont make a difference. Kadri shows no real signs of slowing down but obviously possible.
Add a center shore up the defence this team makes the playoffs.
Oh and it isnt barkov thats in the finals its barkov snd the panthers a damned good team.
I espouse for a center more than most but wont delude myself that the team will tank for top five picks
