Well, either from the owners, or the designers of the vehicles... but yes. Wormius reminded me of my older vehicle that wouldn't turn off the inside lights for like 10-15 minutes if I didn't click the lock button twice. Idiotic design.
As mentioned, sometimes you need to click more than once for the beep/honk or for the lights to turn off. This is especially true of certain one way vs 2 way remotes. My van's auto starter needs the vehicle to be locked twice in a row in rapid succession before you can click the auto-starter button. Because it's one way and prone to interference/remote is too slow to register quick clicks/have to redo if in between each lock click is more than 2-3 seconds, I click lock 3 times before I click and hold the auto car starter button. It's annoying how often I have to try 2-3 times before I can get the van started. At least the van is a beep when lock is clicked instead of an obnoxious honk.
