Default Ditching my home security monitoring and go DIY

So I have been paying like $50+ for years for Vivint home security. But recently I got 3 false alarms in the middle of the night because of strong wind tripping the window sensors, I called in and they offer me to upgrade the equipment (basically pay more).

Now I am thinking, maybe I can do it myself and skip the monthly monitoring fees.

I have the following currently and want something similar:

3 keypad doorlocks
3 smoke/CO2 detectors
2 or 3 window sensors (which are useless)
doorbell camera
garage overhead door control
2 nest thermostats (1st gen, needs to be replaced anyways - another gear grinder)

All equipment have already been paid for so I can keep them without extra costs if they are still functional.

I am looking to get a Blink system from Amazon, what are your guys' thoughts? I don't need 24/7 monitoring by a call center, and I don't need to control everything remotely from the phone.
