Yah, usually for me, all the previous consoles start collecting dust, but I don't have much appetite to sell. I've been just kind of displaying it on shelves for my older consoles, while other ones (ie. the PS4), I've been using on my other rooms in case I want a Bluray player there. Really, because of backwards compatibility, I've not fired up my PS4 in a long time, and I suspect the Switch 1 will be the same. But like you said, those consoles gave me like 1000+ hours of enjoyment, so they owe me nothing.

The funny thing is, my kid loves the retro gaming stuff. He'd kill for an old NES, SNES, etc. even if it was mostly on display. But, alas, those old systems were deemed "old" and "unnecessary" once. Even my old Game Boy from back in the day. I can't even remember who I sold/gave that to, but he would love it now.
