It depends on your definition, of course.
But DeBoer has been to the finals twice, the semi-finals 6 times, and the second round once. He's had a winning percentage over .600 9 times, and two of those were over .700.
Whether he's a "good" coach depends on how you look at it, but he definitely has gotten decent results.
