The Flames had a lot of success with the core of Tkachuk, Gaudreau, Monahan and the rest. I know that they didn't win a cup but for a 3-4 year span they were a top team in the league. Unfortunately issues with the roster still existed (such a relying on 36 year old Mike Smith as a #1 goalie) but the team was one of the best from 2017-2022.
Covid really messed up this teams window.
