And if any of the 31 other teams (okay except for maybe the Kraken - weirdly badly managed team) got that same bundle of 1sts led by McDavid, they would've done a LOT more with it in the same span of time. We're talking multiple championships by this point.
If you told Ron and the "something special" pundits on TV in 2015 that it would take them 10 years to get to this point they'd be asking how the hell it took so long.

For a guy like Scorp to bang on this drum of why the Flames can't channel the Oilers in how they do things... Dude, you don't WANT to channel the Oilers.
They may very well still squander McDavid and come out of this with 0 cups. That's a debacle level of incompetence.
It's akin to being given the answers to an exam and still managing to not be the top student in the class in spite of it.
