Question, were there any actual reports of "episodes" or just a general sense of much of the team didn't like him and the team didn't enjoy coming to the rink? I don't recall seeing any specifics, but very likely I missed or forgot them.
I bring that up to say, hindsight is helpful. No doubt, Darryl has always been polarizing, and certainly has a shelf life. But also, I took most of what we heard to be more generic comments about the culture not being fun, vs. specific things where he crossed a line. And given what I feel we've learnt since Darryl left about that group (Tkachuk and Kadri being the exceptions), I feel like a lot of the players who likely didn't like it here, were just as much the problem (likely more) as Darryl was.
