For those that only go to movies to chauffer/accompany your ungrateful kids, I saw Lilo and Stitch this weekend. It is a live action remake of a Disney "classic" I don't really remember. It is exactly what you might expect from Disney. Very good production, special effects were actually pretty good, with Stitch rendered in such a way to be believable. Acting pretty solid as well. Kids seemed to really enjoy it. For adults, I think tolerable, but man, they lay on the schlocky, oversentimentality on so thick in these things, I feel I need to take shower. Nuance, seems to be dead.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
