If we are looking at signing KHL players I would rather the Flames look toward taking a chance on forwards.

For example, Daniil Gutik just lead his team in goals, assists and points (by 11 points to boot) at 23 years old. He is 6'3", plays RW and LW and shoots right. Bring him in and give him a chance to play either with the team or on the Farm (if he agrees) in a top line role.

We need skill, take some chances. Worst case scenario he heads back to the KHL but at least you tried. I want to see big swings...
