Rossi and Frost are RFAs. Both will be wanting a long-term commitment, Rossi maybe would take a bridge but you need to trade significant assets to get him so the Flames might want the commitment.

Cost of Rossi is of course the biggest concern, I'm not even sure what it would be. The hypothetical cost to get Byram and Rossi in the example shared was Calgary giving up only Andersson and Pospisil which is why I was on board.
But you're right, there would instantly be a bigger logjam that would need be addressed as well.
