While Sigalet was a mediocre goalie coach, his eye for identifying goalie talent appears to be a strength.
Still don't know why you move on from Vladar when you don't have to. Down the stretch he gave them a chance in every start. Willing to chalk the earlier part of the season up to getting back in the swing after injury.

Depending on the cap hit, a one-way contract isn't much of a risk at all. All it means is if he's in the AHL he gets the NHL salary, and if it's below the threshold, it won't count against the cap.
