Hey all, was in Europe this whole last week. I managed to watch game 7 against the leafs on the plane, but I knew I was likely not going to be able to watch this series because of the time difference.
Looks like I didn't miss much. Panthers seem to own the 'Canes in the playoffs. These teams are very, very similar in many ways, but the Panthers have the edge in their top skill players, the edge in goal, and the edge in physical play. That's the weird thing about the playoffs. Even if you have just a slight edge, it looks like you're much better than the other team. The differences are mostly razor thin, and yet if you have the right differences, you can beat a lot of teams.
Game 4 tonight. This series is likely all but over, but I am curious to see if Carolina can at least break this streak of ECF losses. If nothing else, they have to win at least one game in the series to change the narrative.
