I'm not saying it wouldn't help. The post I replied to made a bunch of assumptions about the EM, while invoking the mega-cringe "center of the universe" rhetoric.

If the EM refuses to visit Alberta and talk to people on the ground during her tenure, then that's worthy of criticism.

Besides, wouldn't appointing an EM based on what region of the country they grew up in be a DEI hire? I thought conservatives hated DEI.
