In general I would agree with this... but then you see government bailing out, subsidizing, and legislating labour resolutions for private businesses. As far as I'm concerned the government shouldn't be doing any of those things and if any of those things HAVE to happen then the government ought to be at least partially (or pseudo) nationalizing them. If something is deemed to important to the national interest to fail or to be disrupted then it's to important to leave entirely in the hands of the private sector.
