I still like whetstones better, and I kinda find the amount of passes with the rolling I need to do a lot because the pressure isn't as high. The rolling sharpener can only do shorter knives, so certain naikiri or cleavers can't be done with it. But for a complete newbie/moderate user of knives, this is great set for basic knife sharpening vs those ceramic pull sharpeners.

The second video, where the woman cuts meat with the knife after sharpening it isn't exactly a selling point.
