I want the Flames to get a top draft pick more than anybody. But the fact is, this organization will not do it.
So we are going to have to accept that they aren't going to be bottoming out any time soon. And they're going to address their needs this offseason.
I.e a top line forward to improve scoring, focusing on center depth overall, and Left side D, and a back up goalie.
It's going to be interesting how Conroy is going to do these things.

Agree with all of this. A lot if poster were claiming that because if wolf we over achieved and i am kind if pushing back on that idea. Kadri played at top line levels, huby at top six, Bahl is a good middle pair guy found money, backs and frost were bottom six add a top line center or an approximation of one to fill that gap between frost and kadri this is a playoff team.
We aren’t going to tank, we have to accept we are tweaking what we have.
Get a Center fill that center gap. I do fully expect frost and farabee to have better years , i wonder if as cool as being picked up by the gm was it added a layer of expectation to those two players they struggled to fill it. A summer to regroup will probably do them good. I expect better from sharky sometimes injury years are just that unfortunately. Healthy zary, more progression from young players, some steadiness from the vets. Trade Anderson sign or trade for a better replacement. Center to fill that top six this is a 100 point team.
