I want the Flames to get a top draft pick more than anybody. But the fact is, this organization will not do it.
So we are going to have to accept that they aren't going to be bottoming out any time soon. And they're going to address their needs this offseason.
I.e a top line forward to improve scoring, focusing on center depth overall, and Left side D, and a back up goalie.
It's going to be interesting how Conroy is going to do these things.

Are they fine tuning? Honest question. The season was a fluke not a trend of a team improving. They beat expectations, but that doesn't change the makeup of the team that is old at the top.
I would argue the 14/15 team had more pieces to have success quicker after a unexpected season, and they added Dougie Hamilton and came crashing down and drafted 6th overall in the lottery the very next season. That was also with a returning Gio who was having a norris type season.
I am not arguing with you do you really think this team is a forward away? We don't even have a #1C.
You can't expect Huberdeau, Kadri, Coleman, Backlund to keep improving and keeping them afloat.
