a fluke season doesn't make the Flames a playoff contender and they have missed for 3 straight years.
OUr top offensive players last season are our oldest players that doesn't make us an attractive destination, not until Parekh, Coronato, hopefully #1 center are firmly established.
Say what you want about Neal, but he was a top goal scorer who signed here and he specifically mentioned getting to play with top young players like Monny(23), Johnny(25), Chucky(20) at the time.
Same can be said about signing Lindholm and Hanifin to long term deals.
