Refs, man. Get out of the way of the puck! Better yet, stop being in the way to begin with. They used to glue their asses to the boards during the play, and jump up on the dasher when the puck was coming their way.

Now they skate around the players almost out to the dots, and if the puck hits them and leads to a goal (or, prevents a puck clear on the PK in the final minute of a period in a 1-goal playoff game)… oh well!
