I actually know of several nurses who've gone down to California and get paid 2-3 what they get paid here. The US already has visas (TN Visa, which applies to many professional occupations) in place that make it extremely easy for Canadian nurses to go down there.
The US is already many steps ahead here, and accept all Canadian nursing licenses and accredited school degrees/diplomas. The idea that BC is now going to make the process "easier" for US nurses to get accredited here is actually kind of humorous. It's like some internet nerd saying he's going to make the process for Sydney Sweeney having a date with him easier. This is totally tone deaf.
