He would probably embrace the challenge of being a top line C. He would definitely need to work on his faceoffs though, the rest of his game is perfectly suited to C.

I have yet to see a quote from him. That the coach and he said he even played defence. Pretty much coach speak. That quote was discussed previously and PED confirmed his dad wanted him listed as a C/W for draft position. He didn’t play center.
He wouldn’t be converted to a C he has been a winger his entire career. People will lose it when he becomes a 50 point player getting cooked taking faceoffs. He is also 27 so not a project. It made more sense moving Lindholm to that position.
