Like those teams that didn’t draft high like St. Louis? Or Las Vegas? which were constructed through some luck for their draft picks and but mostly good trades?
For example, look the teams currently competing in the playoffs, such as a….. Teams like didn't win last 20 years…, like Carolina and also Dallas - you know, noting that while those teams possess a few players originally drafted within the top three, those players were acquired via trade which we usually haven’t had luck last many years.

Carolina won in 2006. Somehow people never remember that season.
