The last season of Clone Wars which was Ahsoka focused, was actually the best season of Clone Wars outside of the season where we got the Pong Krell story line, which was incredibly dark.
But that last season where she faced off against Maul, and we saw a way more violent interpretation of Order 66 was pure Star Wars.
